One Year Ago Today......
It was one year ago today that we were blessed by the arrival of Madeline Mae Fletcher. For the previous four months all had been praying about Maddy's health and for her safe arrival. God was gracious and gave us a sweet baby granddaughter. I can remember waiting and waiting for the news of her arrival. Life was a rough start for Maddy, but she has proven to be a fighter. Her progress is amazing. I never notice the fact that Maddy is a bit "different" than other one-year olds. She is such a precious child and has her very unique gifts and talents given by God. Maddy is such a sharp, inquisitive, curious, observant, little girl. She can turn on the charm and win your heart in an instant. Madeline is a social butterfly that loves to be around other people. She can charm you with her winning smile and her big baby blues. Thank you God for our dear precious baby. Thank you God for her wonderful parents. Thank you God for all those who see to her medical needs---doctors, therapists, friends, family. Thank you God that you have taken care of her spiritual needs through Jesus. We love you Maddy!

Old Dog Learning New Tricks
Well, here I am. My first Blog. I doubt I will put much on here, but this is a fast way to follow all you other blog spot bloggers.
We have had a crazy week. Brian's spring break was the past week. Our plans were to visit my parents, his parents, and then go to Maddy's first birthday party. Grandma ended up in the hospital and so we got to spend most of our time there. Thank goodness we were there to help, but would have rather just visited.
We will be celebrating Maddy's first birthday soon. Can't believe a whole year has passed. Where did it go. Maddy has made such amazing progress this past year and been such a blessing to many. We look forward to celebrating many more birthdays for her.
Now to get this thing up and running and get that dashboard working. Looking forward to continuing to read all the good stuff from you excellent bloggers.
